Still in a lot of pain after a year.
Thankful that I can read my Kindle while in traction.

Speaking as someone who has just had rods stuffed up my femur and tibia you have a great deal of sympathy from me.

Nothing as grim as Peter, just a standard knee replacement, but it's not for the faint hearted.
I suppose it could be worse. With the state of the NHS you could have been waiting longer.
