SHIP’S LOG
Another cool (I say that slightly tongue-in-cheek) female character who originated aboard starship JJ Green is Carrie Hatchett.
Carrie is a Transgalactic Intercultural Community Crisis Liaison Officer, and she’s the star of my first series, Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer.
One of my recent jobs has been to commission new covers for the series, which is now nearly 10 years old!
This is the preliminary sketch for book one, Mission Improbable.

I like the new cover. The corollary to the Dunning Kruger effect is that for people blessed with extraordinary talent underestimate it because it comes easy to them. You touched on this earlier when you mentioned that when you’re in the glow it’s like you’re taking dictation from your imagination. The super wide variety of your stories from the light candy of Carrie Hatchet to the dark suspense of Shadows of the void all incorporate the very authentic individual voices of each character. It’s a talent your readers appreciate.
